Obituary of DAPHNE GUILER

GUILER, Daphne – With loving thoughts from family, Daphne passed away at St. Joseph’s Villa, Dundas, on Friday December 11, 2020 of Port Dover at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Chris Guiler. Dear sister of Kathleen (and the late William) Koopman, and Christine Savory. Step- mother of Peggy Guiler. Loved Gramma Daph to Christie Delahunt, Gayle Delahunt and great gramma of Hope, River, Leo, and Alexis. Also Survived by nieces and nephews, Marg, Ernie, Karen, Christopher, Andrea, cousins Doug, Larry, and their families. Predeceased by sister June (and Peter) Taylor, grandson Bryan Delahunt and niece Bev Wood. Daphne was a member and past chair of Norfolk General Hospital Volunteer Association Port Dover Branch, a Member and Past District Deputy President of Silver Lake Rebekah Lodge #150. Daphne was also a member and Past Matron of Lynn River Chapter #299 and Mercer Chapter 156 O.E.S. Arrangements are incomplete at this time and are entrusted to Thompson-Mott Funeral Home, Waterford. Donations to Norfolk General Hospital Foundation or St. Joseph’s Villa Margaret’s Place Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
