Our deepest condolences to Lorene and all the family members for your loss. Jim was a pioneer in the farming field and along with his family developed a great snack product that our family certainly enjoys. Remembering you all in our thoughts and prayers.

So sorry to hear about Jim. He was such a kind and generous person. My brother, Philip, used to work for him when Jim was in the tobacco-growing industry, and that's where I was introduced to him. I think I only lasted one week on the tobacco farm, but I still kept in touch with him, especially when he started his Chip Nut production. At least twice a year, on our way from our home in Newark, Delaware, US to visit friends in London, we had to stop by his store in Simcoe to get our supply of Chip Nuts and other "essentials." Jim was always so kind - he always gave us a generous discount on our order. May he rest in peace.
We inadvertently gave a donation to the Cancer Research Institute instead of the Canadian Cancer Society.
