Obituary of RICK WILKS

WILKS, Richard William (Rick) – Surrounded by his loving family at Brantford General Hospital on Sunday June 20, 2021 of Waterford at the age of 71. Beloved husband for 48 years to Cheryl (Barber). Loving father of Richelle Wilks (and Jon), Jared (and Christine), Seth (and Arianne). Proud grandpa of Cassie (and Troy), Justice, Zak, Ricky, and Lincoln. Cherished son of Lelah and the late Howard Wilks. Dear brother of Sharon (and Neil) Anderson, Darla (and Dan) Smithers. Rick will also be sadly missed by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by step- father Vern Spiece. Family and friends may be received at Thompson-Mott Funeral Home, Waterford, on Friday July 2, 2021 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Due to limited numbers allowed in the funeral home at one time, you may be asked to wait in your vehicle until you are permitted to enter. Masks must be worn and Covid 19 protocols followed. Donations to Lansdowne Children’s Centre, Brantford, would be appreciated by the family.
