Obituary of IRMA DOROTHY NICOLLE

Nicolle, Irma Dorothy - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Irma on Sunday August 15, 2021 at the age of 80 at the Norfolk General Hospital in Simcoe. Beloved wife for 38 years of Dave Nicolle of Wilsonville; dear sister-in-law of Bill Nicolle of Waterford; Pam (and Derek) Lawrence of Hassocks, England; Rosie (and Jurie) Louw of Cape Town, South Africa; and loved aunt of Rowanne Lawrence in England. Irma will also be missed by dear friends Vicki (and Don) Gravelle of Port Rowan; Ange (and Fred) Mansfield of Courtice; Daphne (and Orval) of Waterford; Hannah (and Cliff) Lawrance of Waterford; and Mary-Ellen McKee of Simcoe. Irma was an avid gardener and certified Master Gardener and Horticultural Judge. She also was an awesome cook and great friend to many. She loved to travel and had many outstanding vacations with Dave. Irma fought valiantly and cheerfully with heart disease for many years, and we would like to thank the incredible medical professionals who have taken care of Irma namely our Family Doctor in Brantford, Dr Jerry Hsiao; Cardiologist Dr Anna Woo at Toronto General; and Nephrologist Dr Robert Yang at St Joe's in Hamilton with his dialysis team especially nurse Shag Patel. As per Irma's wishes cremation has taken place and a private internment with family and friends will follow. Donations in Irma's memory would be welcomed to encourage youth's involvement in horticulture, like a Kids Gardening Program at Eising Garden Centre in Simcoe, attention Henry Eising at henry@eising.ca Funeral arrangements are entrusted with Thompson Mott Funeral Home, Waterford.
