I'm deeply sorry to hear of Roy's passing. I distinctly remember how excited Jan and I were to be getting a new uncle when our Aunt Mary-Ellen got married and how good natured Roy was about gaining a whole handful of nieces in the process. I will fondly remember Roy for his generous spirit, his kindness and his great sense of humour. My thoughts are with Mary-Ellen, Elaine, Elizabeth and Emily-Anne in this tender time. Deepest condolences to Mary-Ellen and his daughters. Besides being your neighbors for a few years, I had the sincere pleasure of working with Roy over the past five years at the school board. He was the kindest and sweetest man! I loved his chuckle and greatly appreciated ALL of his hard work. I know he worked long hours and lots of after hours calls. I was so sad to hear of his passing. My heart and prayers go out to you all.

From Christmas Eve family celebrations, Courtcliff camping, weddings and occasional visits just to catch up he will always be my cool Uncle Roy. Time passes so very fast but memories last. May you find comfort in your own memories, they are to be cherished. Love Wayne
