Obituary of CATHERINE BOROWEC

BOROWEC, Catherine (Andreychuk) 1923 - 2021   Two weeks past her 98th birthday, Catherine peacefully passed away at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg on Monday December 6th, 2021. Predeceased by her husband Peter. Mother of Dan (Cathy) and “Baba” to Kate (David) and Conor. The last of seven siblings, Catherine was hardworking, caring, kind and generous – sometimes to a fault, but whose intentions were always well-meaning. A wonderful cook and baker, Catherine believed life’s best moments were meant to be enjoyed around a kitchen table eating and eating some more. It was a place where all were made welcome. She will be missed. Interment has taken place at Greenwood Cemetery, Waterford. A grave side service will be held at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg.
