Obituary of JEAN MATILDA ROBERTSON

Robertson, Jean Matilda (Mills) - April 25, 1927 – December 10, 2021 Surrounded by her loving family at Stedman Community Hospice Friday December 10, 2021 of Waterford in her 95th year of natural causes. Loving wife and best friend for almost 40 years to the late Earl Robertson (1988). Daughter of Charles Mills and Matilda Halliday. Loving mother to Dorothy (and Robert), Joyce, and Stewart (and Shelia). Grandmother to Stephanie (and John), Melissa, Kimberly (and Paul), Charlie (and Kelly), Mark (and Amanda) and Isaiah. Great-grandmother to Nolan, Isabelle, Emma, Kayden, Elena, Chelsea and Hunter. Predeceased by her brother Kenneth Mills. Jean went to business school and worked as a bookkeeper for several years. After her children were of an independent age, she was secretary at Ada B Messecar School until she retired. She enjoyed camping, bus trips and playing cards with her husband and friends. A private funeral service will be held at Thomson-Mott Funeral Home and interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery. There will be a celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to Stedman Community Hospice or the Waterford Food Bank.
