Obituary of DAVID JAMES PARKER

PARKER, David James – Passed away peacefully at Von Sakura Hospice, Woodstock on Wednesday December 15, 2021 of Wilsonville at the age of 67. First born son of Erna and the late Jim Parker. David leaves behind 5 brothers, Dale and Colleen, Charlie, Rick, Wayne, Scott and Carol; several nieces and nephews, along with 2 great nieces and 1 great nephew. David was an outdoorsman that enjoyed fishing, hunting and bike riding the trails around Brantford where he lived. David was an avid racing fan from the first time he saw his dad race go-carts. Dirt, paved, and any race he went to would find him in the pits where the action was. He took great pride in his profession as a truck driver. In the last several years every weekend you would find David at his moms cutting grass, setting up her yard, doing whatever he could to help her at her home. David was also the guy that everyone called when you needed a hand. No matter the size of the job he would be there. In keeping with David’s wishes there will be no funeral service. Cremation arrangements have been made through Thompson-Mott Funeral Home. Donations to Juravinski Cancer Centre or Von Sakura House would be appreciated by the family. David wished to leave this world quietly in the same way he lived his life. He will be missed.
