Obituary of THEA FUCHS

FUCHS, Thea - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Thea Fuchs on Sunday, January 2, 2022, at Woodingford Lodge, Tillsonburg at 83 years of age. Thea was predeceased by the love of her life Joseph Lawprecht, her parents, Ludwig Adolf Fuchs and Hedwig Bertha Marie (Meyn), her sister Ulla (Fuchs), brother-in-law Heinz Wolfgang Lang. She leaves behind many family members in her beloved country of Germany; her brother Heino Fuchs, sister-in-law Elke Fuchs, several nieces and nephews, Kaia Lang her partner Egbert Graf, Corrina Lang her husband Heribert WeiB, Christine Brock her husband Reiner, Oliver Fuchs his wife Ines, along with great nieces and nephews. Canada became Thea’s home where she had her career and lived most of her life. Canada is where she found a second family that she loved deeply. She is predeceased by her dear friends, Siegrid (Linda) and Reginald (living), Hilda and Laslo, and Bruno and Gladys. Thea leaves behind her extended nieces and nephews, Ramona Cameron (and Don Slaght), Ricci Gould (and the late Lori), Heidi Goodale (and Tim), Erika Hansen (and Lee), Michael Gould (and Sandra), Jayson Gould (and Perry Van Allen) along with several great nieces and nephews. Thea worked hard and was one of the strongest ladies you would ever know. She was an inspiration and a bright light to everyone she met. She was always warm, friendly, and a loving person who was generous with her time and friendship. Her final years were difficult, but she never gave up and accepted the challenges that faced her with dignity and grace. We want to thank the staff at Woodingford Lodge Tillsonburg for their kindness and care they gave to our beautiful Tante Thea. We thank you for making her feel at home. As per Thea’s request cremation has taken place and there will not be a funeral service. As an expression of sympathy, a donation to Woodingford Lodge in her memory would be appreciated. Rest in peace our dear Tante Thea, we love you so much.
