PITRE, Rod; Peacefully, with his wife by his side at Norfolk General Hospital on Friday September 6, 2013, of Windham Centre at the age of 69. Beloved husband of Gladys (Cherewka). Loving father of Chris (and Bonnie), Jeff (and Cheryl), Connie (and Scott), Lisa (and Kevin), Michelle, Trish (and Alan). Proud Papa of Andrew; Nicole, Curtis; Travis, Jeremy, Jessica, Jacob; Johnathan, Jaimee; Tyler, Ryan; Austin; Sarah (and Scott), Amanda (and Kevin), Jennifer (and Jay) and great grandson Hunter. Loved son of Stafford and Leona. Also survived by several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. At the request of Rod, cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will take place at a later date. Arrangements entrusted with THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford (519-443-5332). As expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate donations to Canadian Cancer Society.
