Obituary of STANLEY LAVERNE CARPENTER SR.

CARPENTER, Stanley Laverne Sr. – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stanley Laverne Carpenter (Sr). Passed away peacefully at Woodstock Hospital on Sunday February 6, 2022. Loving husband of Joan Sheron (Smith) Carpenter. Wonderful father of Stan Carpenter (wife Tammy) and the late Cindy (Carpenter) Rogal (husband Greg). Grandfather of Cody (wife Mackenna), Jessica (husband Gab), Scott (girlfriend Faith), and Jakob. Great grandfather of Grayson and Bentley. He will also be dearly missed by the many brothers, sisters, cousins and friends of both Stan and Joan. Stan was a gentle soul. Anyone that knew him, loved him. Family and friends will be received at Thompson-Mott Funeral Home, Waterford on Thursday February 10th, 2022 from 3-6pm. Masks and social distancing are required. A private service will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or Alzheimer Society.
