MERCER, Paul – It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Paul at Norfolk General Hospital on Thursday March 3, 2022 of Wilsonville at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Louise (Hince). Dear father of Tiffanie Jakoplic (and James Moser), Kimberley Church (and Jason), Cindy Perri (and Jason Vickers), Jeff Mercer, Nicole Mercer, and Natalie Mercer. Loving grandpa of Evan, Aaron, Vincent, Ryan, and Tyler. Following Paul’s wishes for cremation the family will have a private gathering. Paul was actively involved in muzzle loading competitions. Paul will be fondly remembered by all as a jokester and smart ass. As expression of sympathy donations may be made to Haldimand Norfolk SPCA.
