Obituary of ANNIE SIMPSON

SIMPSON, Annie (nee: Colibaba) – Peacefully surrounded by loving thoughts from her family, Annie passed away at Von Sakura House, Woodstock on Thursday April 28, 2022, of Norwich at the age of 71. Loving mother of Jon (and Sharon), Wesley (and Linda), Eric (and Katie), Scott (and Angela). Cherished Nana of Sydney, Devin, Mathew, James, Natalie, Madison, and Samantha. Dear sister of Peter (and Gay), Margaret (and George) Atlee, Danny (and Ursula), Bill (and Debbie), Steve (and Nancy), Paul (and Dusty), Jim (and Brenda), Mary Ann (and Bernie) Smith. Annie will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Predeceased by parents Peter and Annie Colibaba, sisters Helen Dittmer, Rose Shields, Jenny Simpson, Lorraine Billyard, brothers Mike, George, and Nick. Family and friends will be received at Thompson-Mott Funeral Home, Waterford on Thursday May 5, 2022, from 4-8pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday May 6, 2022, at 11am. Rev. Allan Burr officiating. Interment Waterford Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Von Sakura House or Woodstock Women’s Shelter.
