MOORE, Gordon Peter – With heavy hearts the family announces the unexpected passing of Gord on Friday May 13, 2022, at the age of 62. Loved and cherished husband for 42 years to Sherrie (Dalby). Loving father of Jordon (and Cara), Brandon, Ryan. Proud Papa of Landon, Ava, Grayson, and Lianna. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Ruth Ann (and Larry) Moser, Diane Moore, Ellen Moore, Teresa Robertson, Dawn (and Gord) Guthrie. Fondly remembered by father and mother-in-law Jim and Barb Dalby. Gord will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Predeceased by parents William and Marian Moore, brothers Donald, and Kenneth Moore, sister Mary Beard, nephews Ian Beard, and Robert Moore. Growing up on a dairy farm, Gord developed a passion and dedication to not only the production of milk, but also the reproduction of pure-bred Holsteins. Gord was a member of Villa Nova Baptist Church and served as Chair for the Deacons. Gord immensely enjoyed spending time with family, coaching his boys in hockey, basketball, and soccer. Family and friends will be received at Thompson-Mott Funeral Home on Wednesday May 25, 2022, from 2-4 and 6:30-8:30pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday May 26, 2022, at 1:30pm. Rev. Andrew Bunner officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to Villa Nova Baptist Church.
