Obituary of SHIRLEY PATRICIA JOAN POKONZO

POKONZO, Shirley (nee Ryan)  – peacefully at Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe, with family at her side, at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Rudolph (Rudy) Pokonzo. Loving mother of the late Wendy Stewart.  Cherished Nana of Jordan Lewis. Dear sister of Rose Pokonzo and Linda Timmermans. She was a loving aunt to numerous treasured nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Marianne Herechuk and Josephine Stuart and by her brothers Percy, Ronald, and Jim Ryan.  Family and friends will be received at the Thompson Mott Funeral Home, Waterford on Monday, June 27, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until service time in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m.  Rev. Allan Burr officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Shirley’s request was that donation be made to your favorite Children’s Charity.
