She supported others, spending decades as a Disability Support Worker for the Government of Ontario, and she was a devoted worshiper and volunteer at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, teaching Sunday school and organizing the church fair booth for over 15 years. After beating cancer in 2008, Sharon had a second short but courageous battle with a vicious and aggressive cancer. Since her diagnosis in April of 2022, Sharon was able to check many items off her bucket list, including special memories with her grandchildren and hosting a party with her extended family.
