Obituary of YVONNE CARON

CARON, Yvonne – With heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Yvonne at Norfolk General Hospital on Sunday December 25, 2022, of Waterford at the age of 71.  Loving mother of Tracey Maiurro, Chad (and Diana) Caron.  Cherished grandma of Conner, Keira, Harvey, and Vincent.  Yvonne will also be sadly missed by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.  Predeceased by parents Peter and Gertrude Mooyman, sisters Margaret Mooyman, and Amy Sloan.  Yvonne adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with family and friends.  Yvonne also loved being near water, playing cards, and travelling.  Many will fondly remember Yvonne for her vibrant personality, and “bringing” the party.  A Celebration of Yvonne’s life will be held at Thompson-Mott Funeral Home, Waterford on Wednesday January 4, 2023, at 11am.   If desired, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
