Obituary of MARIE BERYL CHAMBERS

CHAMBERS, Marie – Marie Chambers is now peacefully resting in our Heavens.  Marie passed away Wednesday March 29, 2023 in her 88^th year after a very busy and interesting life.  Busy as a farm gal and very active with her church and the Ontario Plowman’s Association.  She was well liked and respected for all her accomplishments, including becoming the first woman of the OPA.  She will be fondly remembered by her children, Robert (Wendy), Marvin (Judy) Patricia (Dave) Ferris, Lorna (Doug) Fletcher, Neil (Erin); as well as her 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.  Marie is predeceased by husband Don, grandson Gordie, and her parents Gordon and Erie North.  Family and friends are invited to Thompson-Mott Funeral Home, Waterford on Monday April 3, 2023 from 6-8pm.  Funeral Service will be held in the chapel Tuesday April 4, 2023 at 11am.  Rev. Allan Burr officiating.  Interment Greenwood Cemetery.  And while mom was an avid gardener and lover of flowers, it is her wish that any donation consideration be to the organization of your choice.
