So, although my Uncle Tom is gone, his memory will live in my heart forever. He'll continuously be remembered and kept alive by those memories, and although I didn't see him as often recently, I can say that the memories I have of him as a child are happy ones, ones that fill me with warmth and joy. The one thing I will never forget about my uncle is that he was strong, and loved putting a smile on my face. He'd call me Rebeck, not entirely sure why he shortened my name to that, rather than Becca or Becky, but that is why it is special, because it was true to him. I will hear him saying my name in my head every time I remember him, and I'm glad I can say that. I love you Uncle Tom, and I wish you peace.
