Obituary of KATIE LAUDENBACH

LAUDENBACH, Katie – It is with heavy hearts the family announces the peaceful passing of Katie at Norfolk General Hospital on Monday November 13, 2023, of Waterford at the age of 92.  Beloved wife of the late John Laudenbach.  Loving mother of Irene (and Doug) Gunton, the late Helen Pasinek (and Rob).  Devoted grandma of Kevin (and Sue), Debbie (and Shawn), Cal (and Meggin), Brett, Jessa, and Jamie.  Cherished Oma of Olivia, Owen, Aidan, Ayla, Noah, Kyya, and Tyler.  Dear stepsister of Lena Schwager.  Also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.  Predeceased by granddaughter-in-law Jenifer Gunton, and sister Elizabeth Muller.  A special thank-you to the staff at Cedarwood Village, and Norfolk General Hospital.  Family and friends will be received at Thompson-Mott Funeral Home, Waterford on Saturday November 18, 2023, from 11am until service time in the chapel at 1pm.  Rev. Grace Eun Kyung Lee officiating.  Interment Greenwood Cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to Norfolk General Hospital.
