Obituary of NORMAN EARL IRELAND

IRELAND, Norman (Skip) – Norm Ireland, of Waterford, ON, passed away at Stedman Community Hospice, Brantford, on Saturday December 2, 2023, at the age of 86.   Norm passed away peacefully following a courageous battle surrounded by the love of his family.  Beloved husband of Barb (Scott).  Loving father of the late Kelly (and Tom), Dale (and Fred), Wendy (and the late Darin), Norm (and Susanne).  Proud Grandpa to 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a great great uncle.  Dear brother of Wayne (and Virginia), Mark (and Lynda).  Norm will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.  Predeceased by parents Norm and Bea Ireland.  Family and friends will be received at Thompson-Mott Funeral Home, Waterford, Wednesday December 6, 2023, from 2-4 and 7-9pm.  Funeral Service will be held in the chapel Thursday December 7, 2023, at 11am, Rev. Allan Burr officiating.  Interment at Greenwood Cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Stedman Community Hospice, or the Simcoe and District Humane Society.  Norm will always be remembered as generous, kind, and caring and will be remembered lovingly by his family and friends.
