We are part of a wonderful big family. Kathy was a special sister to me. She was a role model when I was growing up and she was the older sister that I would drop in on during high school and after. I would bring my friends with me and she always had an open door and welcoming smile for us. I could talk to her about anything and she would always listen without judgement. She accepted everyone for who they are. Some of you may remember her Tupperware parties, her pan parties and her New Year’s Eve parties. They were always so much fun. Since I was at her house a lot growing up, I am blessed to know her wonderful kids and their wives - Randy & Brenda and Scott & Melanie. My thoughts and prayers are with them through this difficult time. Our family has lunches for each brother or sister’s birthday and we get together every July 1st and Kathy always came to those special times with a smile and a positive outlook on life. We will all miss her presence dearly. I will treasure our memories together in my heart forever. Rest In Peace our wonderful sister and know we will always love you. Linda & Allan, Chris & Kailey, Lucas, Ellie, Sean & Andrea.

I met Kathy about 11 years ago. I had just moved into her apartment building, after leaving an abusive relationship. Kathy made a point right away to welcome me and introduce herself. She was one of the kindest, sweetest ladies ever! She was a tough one too who I would not mess with! I had an ex coming around the complex, bothering me. She told him if he didn't leave and never come back, she's shove her cane up his a%%*,!!! Lol
Ash and Sean, and your famallies, she loved you w sll her heart. Even through your struggles, she saw the kind, wonderful people you are. That's what matters. She will be w you always! When you can't hear her, close, your eyes, open your heart and she will be right there w you. Loved and never forgotten l. Rest easy, Kathy...

I met Kathy almost 15 year ago. She was just one of those people who were always sweet and kind. She loved when I would come back to Simcoe and she could see our little ones. She just loved children. Kathy was just one of those people who you knew you could go to. I wish I could have made it there to say goodbye. She’ll be missed xx
