Obituary of ROBERT ALAN SHOWERS

SHOWERS, Robert Alan – With heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Bob at Norview Lodge, on Monday January 8, 2024, of Vanessa at the age of 73.  Beloved husband of Winifred (Fred) Lloyd-Smith.  Proud father of Leslie Showers, Amy Showers, Wendy Showers, Wesley Showers, and Alana Lloyd-Smith.  Loving Pappy of Brandi, Lucas, Sydnee, and Lynkin.  Bob will be missed by other family members and friends.  Predeceased by parents Robert and Marion Showers, and sister Phyllis Bucci.  A memorial service will be held at Boston Baptist Church on Thursday January 11, 2024, at 1:30pm.  Pastor Steve Woods officiating.  A memorial service will also be held on Saturday January 13, 2024, at First Church of God, Latrobe, PA. followed by interment at Unity Cemetery, Latrobe PA.  Pastor Mike Bobula officiating.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society,  Canadian Diabetes Association, or American Diabetes Association.
