Obituary of James Cochrane

Cochrane, James; Passed away peacefully Thursday July 24, 2003, in his Vanessa home surrounded by his family, at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Bonnie Cochrane (nee Blakeney). Devoted father of Sherri Long (& Melvin Long) of Calgary, Jerolynn (Lynn) Cochrane of Teeterville, Harland James Cochrane (& Patricia Frandsen), of Petawawa, and Debi Noye of Halifax. Grampa will be dearly missed by his grandchildren marcus James Caleb Long, Jeremy James Noye, Sasha Gwendolyn Frandsen, Craig Morris Vincent Frandsen, Hilary Ann Cochrane, Zachary James Cochrane and Jaime Diallo Cochrane Thomas. Loving brother to Reg Cochrane (& Hazel) of Abbotsford, Dorothy Bergman (& Raymond), of Teeterville, and Bill Cochrane (& Caroline) of Waterford. Uncle Jim will be missed by all of his nieces and nephews. Jim served in both the Royal Canadian Navy and Airforce as an Aero Engine Technician. He was an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer for over 20 years as a civilian in Fredericton and then a Federal Airworthiness Inspector out of London Region, Ontario for several years. Jim was a friend to all he met and he will be sadly and dearly missed by all. The family will receive friends to share their memories of Jim at the Thompson-Mott Funeral Home, Waterford, Monday July 28th 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held at the Vanessa United Church on Tuesday, July 29th at 2pm. Interment Vanessa Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation.
