Obituary of BRIAN WARD LEFLER

LEFLER, Brian Ward – With heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Brian, of Waterford at the age of 73.  Beloved husband of Sandra (Willems).  Loving father of Trevor (and Lori), Alycia (and Mike) Stier.  Proud Papa of Paige, Noah; Camryn, and Quinn.  Dear brother and brother-in-law of Wayne (and Deanna), Linda Griesbauer, Brian (and Karen) Willems.  Brian will also be missed by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.  Predeceased by parents George and Kathleen Lefler, and stepfather Kenneth Smithies.  Brian retired from Stelco in 2009 and enjoyed spending time with family and following the grandchildren’s activities.  A Celebration of Life for Brian will be held Sunday April 21, 2024, at Thompson-Mott Funeral Home, Waterford from 1-4pm.  Words of Remembrance will be shared at 2:30pm.  As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or Canadian Diabetes.
