Obituary of DOUGLAS REID WOODLEY

WOODLEY, Doug – Peacefully passed away surrounded by his family on Saturday May 4, 2024, in his 91^st year.  Loving father of Joanne (and Duane), Brad (and Jennifer).  Proud grandpa of Spencer, Samantha, Easton, and Brooks.  Dear brother of Don (and the late Joyce), the late George (and Eleanor).  Doug will also be missed by Shirley, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.  Predeceased by parents Reginald and Margaret Woodley.  Doug was raised on the family farm in Boston and later moved to Brantford.  Doug was a founding member of the Piston Pushers Car Club and was an avid drag racer and car enthusiast.  Family and friends will be received at Thompson-Mott Funeral Home, Waterford on Thursday May 9, 2024, from 11am until service time at 12pm.  Rev Allan Burr officiating.  Interment Waterford Greenwood Cemetery.  Following the interment the family invites Doug’s family and friends for a time of fellowship at Thompson-Mott Funeral Home from 1-4pm.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your charity of choice.
