Obituary of MARIA ISABEL MARTINS

MARTINS, Maria Isabel – With the love of her family, Maria passed away at West Haldimand Hospital on Friday June 28, 2024, of Waterford in her 94^th year.  Beloved wife of the late Antonio Martins.  Loving mother of Maria (and Vernon) Goble.  Cherished grandma of Chris Martins, Jason Goble (and Akudo).  Dear sister of Guilherme (and the late Teresa) Varao, Adriano (and Joana) Varao, John (and the late Irondina) Varao.  Maria will also be remembered by her nieces, and nephews.  Predeceased by sister Rosario (and Carlos) Mantua, brother Antonio (Alzira) Varao.  Family and friends will be received at Thompson-Mott Funeral Home, Waterford on Thursday July 4, 2024 from 9:30 - !0:30am.  Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday July 4, 2024 at 11am at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Parish.  Father Charles Akinloye officiating.   Interment at Waterford Greenwood Cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy donations may be made in memory of Maria to Norfolk Haldimand Community Hospice or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
