Obituary of MACKLEM DELOS ANDERSON

Macklem Anderson (Mac) – It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Mac, at Brantford General Hospital on Saturday August 3, 2024, formerly of Wilsonville at the age of 102.  Beloved husband of the late Carma (Cross), and Betty (Hill).  Loving father of Gay (and Brian) Cochrane, Greg (and Karen).  Proud grandpa of Scott (and Renee), Brent, Kyle (and Kristie), Jonathan (and Nicole), Ryan, Alissa (and Sean), and great grandchildren Brady, Bennett, Logan, Luke, Henry, Ivy, Emery, and Maxwell.  Mac will also be missed by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  Predeceased by brothers Alam (and Helen), Gerald (and Marion), sisters Dorothy (and Grant) Riddle, Mildred (and John) Poss.  Mac was born in 1922 on the family farm east of Wilsonville to Ernest Anderson and Aleta Barnes.  The family would like to thank the staff at Telfer Place, Paris and Brantford General Hospital for all their compassion and care.  Family and friends will be received at Thompson-Mott Funeral Home, Waterford on Wednesday August 7, 2024 from 4-7pm.  Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday August 8, 2024 at 11:30am.  Rev. Joel Sherbino officiating.  Interment Waterford Greenwood Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in Mac’s memory may donate to Campfire Circle (Camp Trillium Rainbow Lake).
