Frank and Tracy are wonderful warm welcoming friends of ours. Many a birding trip with Tracy, and visits at their house in algonquin highlands. Graydon remembers Franks tractor rides, sitting together on their front walk, hand feeding the woodpeckers and other birds… Frank and Tracy’s grandparent like love (and spoiling him with cookies and treats).
The love of Frank and Tracy for not only each other, but for family and friends is a legacy to Frank.
So much love for these friends. Frank will be greatly missed.

We had the pleasure to meet and share time with Frank, Tracy, Mocha and Sadie in Sanlan this past winter. It was fun playing shuffleboard, chatting and watching Sadie zoom around. Frank was such a kind man that will always have a place in our hearts.

Frank, what can we say to express how blessed we were to have known you. From the moment we met you at Sanlan you became a great friend and your friendship will be cherished forever. You were kind, thoughtful and had a wonderful sense of humour. The love you showed for Tracy was over the top and she was truly the center of your world. Your love of your family was alway evident in any conversation we had about your parents, boys and grandkids.
Although our friendship has been cut short way to soon we will cherish the memories always.

We met Frank and Tracy early in our first visit to Sanlan RV Resort, Lakeland FL.We were excited to meet new friends in the park. We found that they shared a passion for exploring and since we all had e-bikes, together we found the wonderful Florida countryside, full of beautiful animals both wild and domestic, along the sometimes very primitive trails.
The times we spent together were precious and times Terry and I will always cherish.
Always in our thoughts

I met Frank shortly after Tyler and I started dating. I knew instantly we would be friends. His quick wit and sarcastic humour lured me in immediately!
His love for life stemmed from loving Tracy and all of the adventures they went on together. If tracy was happy, Frank was happy. Even if that meant having 4 dogs share their bed…..❤️ The lengths he went to for the people he loved is something we will all cherish and take with us throughout our lives. Frank had tough hard working hands, and the heart of an absolute angel. He will be missed so very much by Tracy, his sons, all of his granddaughters, and many more.

Frank, I will never forget that day on the beach in Louisiana where we met watching dolphins. That was the start of complete strangers becoming the best of friends.
You have left an imprint on my soul that will be there forever. I love you my brother and I'll see you on the other side.

I lost one of my best friends this week. Frank Patterson was one of the kindest, gentlest, toughest, hardworking men I have ever met. His strengths were his honesty and his willingness to lend a hand or sage advice whenever needed.
I met his loving wife Tracy 9 years ago this week on a birding outing and we quickly became friends. She introduced me to Frank and it was as if we had been friends for years. Frank and Tracy quickly became a part of my chosen family. They invited me to their home in Algonquin Highlands and I fell in love with the area. They invited me to visit Costa Rica with them. They introduced me to a world and lifestyle in Costa Rica that I had not known existed and I fell in love with it. Upon returning home I decided to retire and move up to Algonquin Highlands. I bought a lot and over the next 6 months, while living in their home with them, Frank and I built my forever home. We spent five wonderful years living around the corner from each other, spending countless hours on each other's front porches and enjoying each other's company sometimes, without a word passing between us.
Three years ago we decided it was time to move on, me to Costa Rica to follow my dream and, Frank and Tracy to Southern Ontario to be closer to their families.
Frank's love of Tracy and of their sons and grandchildren was a thing of movies. All of the little's adored him with all of their hearts and they're going to miss him tremendously.
My heart and deepest condolences go to Tracy, their sons Tyler and Jason and all of the grandchildren.
Frank is gone but his memory will always be with me.

We met Frank and Tracy on a beach in Louisiana many years ago. As we all watched the dolphins feedings, little did we know what an amazing friendship was forged that day. We decided to meet again the following year which led to us spending all our winters together in the south.
Frank was the most giving, loyal, generous and wonderful man. His love for Tracy was above and beyond what few can even dream of experiencing. He was the best Gampa to all his beautiful granddaughters and they adored and loved him to no ends.
There's so much to miss as Frank was literally larger than life itself. When Frank loved, it was with his entire heart. When Frank took on a project, it was done pristinely and with pride.
But, I'll say it again, his love for his beautiful wife, Tracy was a joy to experience.
Frank was what is great in our world and we are going to miss his wit, his charm and his zest for life.
See you in the other side, Frank. My friend and brother always and forever.

My heart breaks for my sister Tracy, her children and grandchildren. Frank was a dedicated family man and I can’t thank him enough for the way he loved my sister and took care of her. We shared many laughs, especially when they lived up north. He introduced my daughter, Sydney, to one of her favourite snacks: cucumbers and malt vinegar. He had great patience teaching my son, Liam, to fish. Your pain was too great and you fought a very hard battle. You will be missed as a dear brother-in-law.
