Obituary of MAUREEN MARY WOODS

WOODS, Maureen Mary (nee Benn) – Passed into the arms of her Savior on Sunday November 17, 2024, in her 89^th year.  Beloved wife of 66 years to Gordon.  Dear mother of Stephen and his wife Ruth Ann.  She will be missed by her 3 granddaughters, Misty (Phil) Jones, Brittany (Dan) Johnston, and Abby (Scott) Hefkey.  Maureen’s 9 great grandchildren will miss her hugs and kisses.  Dear sister of Dave (Wendy) Benn.  Maureen will also be missed by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  Predeceased by great granddaughter Olivia, brothers Jim and Tom Benn.  Maureen was a faithful member of St. Barnabas Anglican Mission.  She was also an avid member of the Sewing Seeds; a sewing club that created different projects for the needy around the world.  Family and friends will be received at Thompson-Mott Funeral Home, Waterford on Wednesday November 27, 2024, from 12 until the service time at 1pm.  Rev. Allan Burr officiating. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to Rural Life Missions or St. Barnabas Church.
