Obituary of CHARALENE MACKIE

MACKIE, Charalene – With heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Charalene at Norfolk General Hospital on Monday November 25, 2024, at the age of 76.  Beloved wife of the late Andy Mackie.  Loving mother of Jennifer (and John), Don (and Nathalie), James (and Shannon), Michael (and Len), Charles (and Candice).  Proud Grummy of Justin, Chloe (and Gustavo), Claire, Avery, Andrew, and Bubye to great grandchildren Charli, and Xavier.  Dear sister of Maureen (and the late Lou) Colombe, Colenna (and Terry) Carter, Georginna (and Al) Radmore, Sean (and Anne) O’Malley, and the late Michael O’Malley.  Charalene will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  Charalene was a proud former member of Waterford Legion Branch #123.  Following Charalene’s wishes a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
