Obituary of DEBRA SIMON

SIMON, Debra (nee: Church) – It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Debra surrounded by her family at Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton on Tuesday November 26, 2024, of Waterford at the age of 70.  Loving mother of Rob, Alicia (and Ryan).  Dearly loved sister of Jim (and Ann), Sandra Marcotte, Wade, Judy Anstee, Jeffrey, Abby (and Walt), Daryhl (and Anna).  Debra will also be sadly missed by many, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  Predeceased by parents Vincent and Mary Church.  Debra was a member of St. Bernard Parish, and she received great joy quilting, pottery, and baking.  Debra loved to travel, and she especially enjoyed spending time with family, friends and her pets.  Family and friends will be received at Thompson-Mott Funeral Home, Waterford on Sunday December 1, 2024, from 1 to 4pm.  Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Parish on Monday December 2, 2024, at 11am.  Interment Waterford Greenwood Cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Waterford Food Bank, and a special request from the family, if you’re able to please donate blood to your local blood bank.
