Thinking of you, Rita and family at this time. Iit was clear how much love was shared between you, your family and Birdman. I did not get to see as much of Ulrich in this past year as I had the previous few years. I thoroughly enjoyed his sense of humour, willingness to try challenges, the way he would join in a "dance" and his strength in an arm wrestle! i feel honored to have known and spent quality time with him in his later years, only wishing to have known him sooner. May He Rest in.Peace and may cheerful memories bring comfort. Julie Palmerston

Mein Vater war immer so stolz auf seinen kleinen Bruder, hat von seinen verrückten Ideen erzählt, von seinem Traum von Freiheit, den er lebte. Es fällt mir schwer, Worte zu finden. Es ist richtig und gut für Ulrich,wieder frei zu sein. Und trotzdem ist es zu früh...

My condolences to Rita and family. I hunted with Rita and her dad many times and learned a lot from them, which were all great times. I am honoured to still have a bald eagle from them and she reminds me of Ulrich every day. I will never forget Ulrich as he has taught me so much about falconry and I've known him since the 1980s.
