Obituary of JAY EDWARD BOUGHNER

BOUGHNER, Jay Edward – It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Jay on Tuesday December 24, 2024, of Wilsonville at the age of 60.  Survived by the love of his life and soul mate for 30 years, Susie Cook.  Loved son of the late Bruce and Carol Boughner.  Jay will also be sadly missed by many cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.  Jay was a lifelong diehard fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, and longtime employee of Canadian Blue Bird.  Jay also loved to golf and enjoyed spending time with friends and joking around.  A Celebration of Life will be held at Swazzee's on Saturday May 24th, 2025 from 1-4pm.  In honour of Jay's LOVE for football and the Kansas City Chiefs.... the family requests that you dress casual and wear your favourite teams shirt or hat, whether it be football or hockey... he loved both.  We want this to be one last Hoorah for Jay and hope to see all his friends there for one last cheer.   As expressions of sympathy, those wishing may donate to the Simcoe and District Humane Society in memory of Jay.
