Turkiewicz, James; Peacefully surrounded by his family, at the Norfolk General Hospital on Sunday November 16, 2003 of Waterford in his 84th year. Beloved busband of Sophie (Kocznur). Loving father of Carol (& Michael) Paulino, Hamilton; Jim (& Paula), Brantford; Ron (& Kathryn), Orillia. Cherished Grandpa and Gigi of Joey, Jamie; Karleigh, Keaton, Traynor; Skylar, Hunter. Predeceased by brothers Bill, & Alex and sister Vicky Foran. Jim along with his wife Sophie owned and operated Sophie' s Restaurant on Alice St. Waterford. Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Mass of a Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Parish at 1pm. Fr. Jim Dunne officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Parish Prayers Wednesday at 6:30 pm. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
