Obituary of Frederick David Erwin

Erwin, Fred D.; Peacefully at Golden Pond on Saturday January 24, 2004 of Waterford in his 99th year. Beloved husband of the late Laura (Caswell). Loving father of Jean (& George) Rumble. Much loved Poppy of Leah (& Michael) Johnston, David, and grat grandfather of Brianna. Predeceased by brother William and sister Hannah. Born at Vill Nova in 1905, living a lifetime in the area he was well known. A faithful member of the Waterfrod United Church serving on various boards and committees. Member of two senior citizen groups in Waterford, life member fo the Waterford and Townsend Historical Society. Past President and Honorary Life member of the Norfolk County Fair. Past President of Norfolk Poultry and Pet Stock Association. Friends may call at the Thompson-Mott Funeral Home, Waterford, Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 1pm. Rev. Larry Wiegand officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Waterford United Church would be appreciated by the family.
