Obituary of Laura Fern Crane

CRANE, Laura (Townsend): After a short illness went to be with her Lord on Monday February 2, 2004 at the Norfolk General Hospital in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Cecil Crane. Much loved Mother of Pat (Ken) Anderson, RR5 Waterford, daughter-in-law Linda Crane, Waterford; loving Grandmother of Sheila Crane, Rob (Annette), Jenn, and Kim Anderson and great grandson Garret. Sister of Bertha Pow. Predeceased by a son John and brother Keith. Laura was a long serving member of the Villa Nova Baptist Church and Women of Faith of the church. Friends may call at the Thompson-Mott Funeral Home, Waterford, on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral service in the chapel on Thursday at 11:00am. Rev. Adolph Hahn and Rev. Julie Ann Morton officiating.
