Pleisier, Jan (John); Peacefully, surrounded by his family at the Norfolk General Hospital on Saturday March 27, 2004, of Cedarwood Village, formerly of Waterford in his 79th year. Beloved husband for 52 years to Cornelia (Zwaal). Loving father of Brenda & David Bradshaw. Cherished Opa of Stephanie, Nelson, & Nicole. Predeceased by daughter Gloria, parents Johan & Maaike Pleisier, sister Johanna, brothers Nico, & Leo. Jan immigrated to Canada in 1956 with his wife and daughter Gloria. He retired from American Can in 1986, and enjoyed gardening & traveling. Friends may call at the Thompson-Mott Funeral Home, Waterford, Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday March 31, 2004 at 11a.m. Rev. Victor McWilliams officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
