Obituary of Helen Welch

Welch, Helen; Suddenly at the Norview Lodge, Simcoe, on Sunday March 28, 2004 formerly of Villa Nova, in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late William Welch. Much loved mother of Ruth (&Robert) Olinyk, Bill (& Mary), Paul (& Christine), Betty-Jean (& William) Draper, David (& Wilma), Cindy (&Richard) Sprau, Raymond, Pat, & Dan. Cherished grandma of Lisa, Les, Chay, Tim, Torie, Jason, Jamie, Chris, Jeff, Stephanie, Lexie, Rebecca, Greg, & great grandma of 6. Dear sister of Patrick (& Betty) Sullivan, Dorothy Smith, Isabell Chiclori. Helen served overseas during World War 2 and was presented with three medals after her service. Friends may call at the Thompson-Mott Funeral Home, Waterford, Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, April 1, 2004 at 11:00a.m. Rev. Adolph Hahn officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Legion service Wednesday at 6:30p.m. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
