Obituary of Charlotte Barber

Barber, Charlotte (Graham); Peacefully surrounded by her family at Park Lane Terrace, Paris on Saturday May 15, 2004, formerly of Bloomsburg, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Lorne Barber. Dear mother of William (Jo-Anne), Simcoe; Frances Poulton (Norman), Paris; Marjorie Soban (Ted), Boston; Charlotte Earl (Len), Hamilton; and Joseph, Brantford. Loving grandmother of 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Survived by sisters Betsy Soles, Port Dover; and Mary Gordon, Fort Erie. Predeceased by brothers William Graham and Thomas Graham. Mrs. Barber was a foster mother for Norfolk County for 28 years and being a foster mother for over 200 children. When moving to Brantford she knit baby hats (4500) for the new babies at Brantford General Hospital. Friends may call at the Thompson-Mott Funeral Home Waterford Tuesday 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel Wednesday at 11am. Rev. Allan Burr officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
