Collins, George; Suddenly at the Norfolk General Hospital on Tuesday September 14, 2004, formerly of Waterford in his 85th year. Loving father of Kathy (& Bernie) Szwedo, Bill (& Sherry), & Ed. Cherished grandpa of Heather (& Ross) Little, Jason, & Shawn Hewitt; Jennifer (& Mike) Hughes, Bill Collins, & great grand-daughter Emily Little. Dear brother of sisters Iva Lees, & Ruth Fearman. Also survived by dear friend Hazel Rice. Predeceased by sister Elna Schooley, & son-in-law Bryan Hewitt. Friends may call at the Thompson-Mott Funeral Home, Waterford Thursday 3:30-5:30 & 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11am. Rev. Adolph Hahn officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Legion Service will be Thursday at 6:30pm. Donations to the Norfolk General Hospital CT Scan or Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home would be appreciated by the family.
