Obituary of Robert LeRoy Pursley

Pursley, Robert; Surrounded by his family at Parkwood Hospital, London on Saturday, October 30, 2004, formerly of Windham Centre in his 82nd year. Beloved husband for 59 years of Violet (Walters). Loving father of Mary Lou Pursley; Allan (& Dalia); Ann Pursley-Meredith (& Dave). Cherished Papa of Julie (& her husband Robin), Jennifer, Ashley and great-grandchildren Ajar, and Aubrey. Predeceased by son Gary, brother Tom and sister Ruth Riddoch. Robert was a World War 2 Veteran, past President of Teeterville Legion Branch 526, Life Member of Waterfrod Legion Branch 123, past Director and past President of Norfolk Mutual Insurance, and former Trustee with Norfolk School Board of Education. Friends may call at the Thompson-Mott Funeral Home, Waterford, Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 1:30pm. Rev. Robert Parr officiatiing.
