Obituary of FRANK ZWAAL

ZWAAL, Frank: Peacefully, after a brief battle with cancer at the Brantford General Hospital on Tuesday, August 9, 2005 of St. George at the age of 76 years; beloved husband of Dorit; loving father of Tara Viirland (Markus) and Jason; dear brother of Corrie Pleisier, Audrey Haviland (Jack), Gerry (Pat); sister-in-law Karin Hildebrand and brother-in-law Max Kitchen; fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; predeceased by his parents Frank and Neeltje Zwaal, sisters Alice Howden and Nellie Kitchen and brother Arie. Frank came to Canada from Holland in 1948 to Waterford. He soon took to the open road to paint, and left brush strokes all over Ontario, finally settling in St. George. Friends may call at THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Service in the chapel on Friday at 1:30pm. Rev. Jeff Smith officiating. Cremation followed by internment at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
