TAUPIEKA, Rev. Maksym; At the Norfolk General Hospital on Monday October 24, 2005, of RR#1 Waterford in his 90th year. Husband of Lena (Riss). Father of John (& Marie VanDamme), Peter (& Carol Ashdown), Anna (& Randy) Belbeck. Grandpa (Dzid) of Jennifer (& Kevin) McGilly, Jeff (& Roxanne) VanDamme, Lee, and Steven Taupieka, Amanda, and Marissa Belbeck; great grandchildren Ailish, and Kaiden McGilly; Alexander, and Zachary VanDamme. Survived by sister Anna and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by several brothers. Friends may call at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford, Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel Thursday at 11 am. Fr. Victor Szajkowski officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Panachyda Wednesday 8 pm. Donations to Norfolk General Hospital CT Scan would be appreciated by the family.
