Dear Matthew and Family, You do not know me, but I worked with your mother at the Expositor on and off for many years. I was the IT support person for the Layout 8000 Dummying system that she used every day to produce the layout of the paper. I was just informed yesterday of the news and I was very deeply saddened. I would just like to say how much she loved all of you. When I asked her about how her family was doing, she talked so proudly of you Matthew, of your artistic accomplishments, of both her absolutely adorable grandbabies and of course how blessed she was to have such a beautiful daugher-in-law in Michelle. Although there was a bit of an age difference, your mother and I got along so well! There were many times where I was going to surprise Cecile and make the trip from Stoney Creek to Waterford to visit her at her beloved Dollar Store, but alas, something always came up and prevented me. I write this with tears in my eyes but how I wish now I had one last opportunity to give her a big hug and say Good Bye. Cecile was one of the most sincere and genuine people I have met in my travels and I will miss hearing her cheery Rita, Rita, Rita over the phone. She will be missed. My deepest and heartfelt sympathies.
