COX, Macklem Fair; At the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe, on June 15th 2006 in his 75th year. Most loved and cherished husband of Eva (nee Lefler). Survived by brother Wilfred (Lois) and sister Mary Norman (Robert), sisters in law Evelyn Cox and Barbara Lane. Predeceased by parents Earl & Elsie Cox, brothers Bob and Jim. Macklem is survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, great nieces and nephews. His life work as an engineering surveyor took him from working locally with McDowell & Jewitt to the Department of Highways Ontario for 17 years. He closed his career with 10 years in the Middle East/Kuwait managing concrete and asphalt plants. Coming back to Ontario he was employed by Marine Investigation and Engineering Consultants, Toronto, working in Dunville. Mac was an avid baseball player, hunter, fisherman, boater, and enjoyed growing Tea Roses, reading and taking man�s best friend Ruby for runs in the country. Visitation will be held at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Main St. Waterford on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 1:30pm. Rev. Karl Allen officiating. Interment Wilsonville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate donations to Norfolk General Hospital CT Scan or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
