WAITE, Amos; At the Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home on Wednesday January 31, 2007, of Simcoe formerly of Bealton in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Ruth (McDowell). Dear father of Alma (& Steve) Waite-Pandelidis, Andy (& Ruth Ann), Arlene. Grandpa of Michael, Karli; Nicole, Derek; Laura. Brother of Don Waite & the late Joyce, Ralph Waite & the late Marjorie, Marie Nicholls & the late Ross. Amos will be sadly missed by niece Patsy (& Jim) McCutcheon along with many nieces & nephews, & good friends Diane & Don Knight. Predeceased by brothers Wray, Earl, Roy & Ross, sisters Ruby Waite & Reta Chrysler. Friends may call at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel Friday 3:30pm. Rev. Jeff Smith & Chaplain Paul Burton officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate donations to Lung Association or Heart & Stroke Foundation.
