Obituary of Dora Anderson

ANDERSON, Dora Louise, RN; Peacefully on Thursday May 31, 2012, Dora entered into the presence of Jesus in her 78th year. Loving wife for 57 years of Ronald. Beloved mother of Janis (and Jake) Campbell, Rhonda, Regan, Penny (and Todd) Kirlik, and Grandma of Eric, Jordan and Abigail. Dear sister of Harold, Alton, Lynne, Donald, and Dorothy. Predeceased by brother Lyle. Dora's life was dedicated to helping and serving others. She was a proud Graduate from Brantford General Hospital School of Nursing. Dora practiced at B.G.H., worked for Dr. Powell in Hagersville, and helped establish the practices of Dr. Callery and Dr. Peeris in Waterford. Dora was a member of the Villa Nova Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School, and led C.G.I.T. and also led many 4-H Clubs. For the past year Dora made her home Hardy Terrace in Mount Pleasant where she received compassionate, respectful care for which the family is grateful. Dora will be missed by her many friends and family. Friends may call at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford, Sunday 1 to 4:30pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel Monday at 11am. Rev. Andrew Bunner officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate donations to Villa Nova Baptist Church.
