My sympathy goes out to the family of Dr. Binder-Bassett. I was a patient of Dr. Binder's when she began the Hantsport office. She was an extremely understanding and kind doctor who made her patients feel comfortable and confident in her work. She touched the lives of many here in Nova Scotia.

Dearest Greg and Barbara: Our deepest sympathy in the loss of such a wonderful person. We will always remember Dorothy for her quick smile, her love of music in Church, her joy that showed every time she looked at Barbara, and her love for her husband. "Lord of the Rings" always brings your family to our thoughts as we remember sharing our views with each other when it was first released at the movies. Dorothy will be deeply missed by all that she touched. May God grant you both peace in the days ahead. With sincere sympathy, Chuck & Eva Vezsenyi and Family.

As a family we wish to express our deepest sympathy. Our whole family had the pleasure of Dorothy's gentle hand and caring manner every time we visited her at the dental office. Personally, Dorothy and I talked many times about our families and I recall when She was expecting Barbara, I was expecting our third daughter, how excited she was to be having that baby, and I remember the many, many times, she talked of Barbara from that day onward. It was very evident how much she loved her daughter and her husband. We will keep you both in our prayers at this time and in the days to come.

Dear Greg and Barbara, We are so sorry to hear of the sudden death of your wife and mother, Dorothy. Dorothy was my dentist for the last 3 years and she was the best dentist I had ever had. She was also a welcome customer at the Simcoe Farmers' Market, where I work and often chatted to her. She spoke with great pride about you, Barbara, and she obviously loved her family. I shall always remember her for her quiet, pleasant and cheerful attitude to life - a truly gentlewoman. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. With deepest sympathy from the vendors at the market and us. Sincerely, Han and Rosemary Reijerse

Dear Greg and Barbara, We as patients of your wife/mother at Dr. J's office would like to express our sympathy in regards to the loss of a beautiful, caring and very well respected person Dorothy Binder. We have been long time patients of your mother/wife. Our children loved to go to the dentist as your mother/wife had the most caring, gentle hands anyone could ask for. As we all will miss her dearly the memories she has left behind will never be forgotten. Barbara as you were a few years older than our oldest daughter, your mother talked very highly of you and your skating interests. You certainly were her life and she will always be very proud of you in your adventures. God bless you all. The Cappe Family in Port Dover.

I read the condolences left here for your wife and mother. I hope it is of some small comfort to you to know that your wife and mom touched so many lives. I read of her passing just today and called my daughter to let her know. She cried. Both my daughters cried. Dr. Binder was the only dentist that either of them have ever had. She was a kind and caring individual into whose hands I had the utmost respect in the care of my daughters dental needs. She was instrumental in ensuring that my daughters received the care that they needed. I wanted you to know that we as well as many others will miss her. May God bless you and keep you in his care.
