MURTLAND, Helen; Peacefully in her daughters home in Waterford, on Tuesday February 20, 2007, of Simcoe, formerly of Waterford in her 76th year. Beloved wife of the late Bruce Murtland. Loving mother of Sandy (& Bill) Mason, Waterford; Danny (& Cheryl), B.C.; & daughter-in-law Carolann Murtland, Oakland. Cherished Grandma of Sherry (& Randy), Kevin (& Shannon), Mike (& Michelle), Jody (& Darrin), Tiffany (& Ryan), Danielle, Alisha, Sherry, & great grandchildren, Melana, Shaun, Collin, Tie, Brett, Justin, Samantha, Austin, Taylor, Reilly, Mitchell, Cora-Lee. Dear sister of Evelyn Hooten, Jack (& Shirley) Ferrell, Russell (Bill) (& Joan) Ferrell. Helen will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, & friends. Predeceased by son Russell (Rusty), sisters Vera, & Myrtle, & brothers Ken, Cliff, Clarence, Bob, & Percy. Friends may call at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford, Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11am. Rev. Jeff Smith officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
